Phuket  Country Club

This is a challenging 3575 yards (championship tee) par 37, 9-hole course, particularly suitable for the low handicap golfer. The picturesque beauty of the scenery and layout, somewhat softens the difficulty of the course. Watch out for those wayward shots; all are penalized either landing in water or out-of-bounds. However, with five tee-off boxes at each hole, you have a choice of making it less of an ordeal. The distinct feature is water- water comes into play 90% of the time.

Loch Palm Course

Known as Phuket’s most relaxing golf course Loch Palm Golf Club is built around Crystal Lake and the remains of an old tin mine, the glistening central feature of the course and the largest body of water on any Phuket golf course. Loch Palm has smooth slopes and dramatic elevation changes and is an exquisitely designed course. It will take you across and around ravines and plateaus that will test your skills at many levels of play. The front nine sits amid lakes and palm trees. The second nine moves you though mountains, hitting uphill and downhill with woods, irons and even your putter. Just 7Km’s from Phuket town and 20 minutes from Patong make it an easy and popular choice for both residents and tourists.

Loch Palm’s sister course Red Mountain is located next door and playing Red mountain one day and Loch palm the next make for a very pleasant 2 days of golf on 2 fine courses.

Laguna Course

Part of the Laguna resort complex this 18-hole Par 71 championship golf course is  6,850 yards long and features a wealth of scenic lagoons, coconut groves and undulating fairways set against the dramatic backdrop of the surrounding mountains. Meandering through the labyrinth of lagoons, the course requires golfers to play with great accuracy and to select woods carefully as water is in paly for 13 of the holes and staying in the dry can be a challenge. On a windy day, the sea breeze will spice up your game further, but that is part of the fun.

The club house has a well stocked bar and great food, there is also an indoor teaching centre that has the latest equipment and a PGA professional to advise.
